As a mystery novelist and creative writing professor, I know how difficult it can be to protect writing time. The Fictioneers is the kind of monthly writing community I always wished I had: a welcoming online community where fiction genre writers come together each month to learn, write, encourage one another, and build creative momentum. 

Join me for a monthly online writing experience designed for fiction writers of all genres who are early career writers or any writer looking for a dedicated space to write with others. Bring your current project or come ready to discover a new one. Whether you're stuck on chapter one or finishing your final draft, you'll leave each session with fresh ideas, renewed momentum, and new words on the page.

Each session includes:
•Premortem: A mini discussion focused on an element of genre fiction 
• A writing warm up based on the topic (10 minutes)
• Dedicated writing time (35 minutes)
•Postmortem: writing check-in and plans for your writing over the next month

This isn't just time to write. It's a chance to build a sustainable writing habit, strengthen your craft, and become part of a supportive community.

Dates: The last Thursday of every month beginning August 27th
Time: 7:30-8:45 PM EDT
Location: Zoom
Cost: $15 per month (paid through Venmo)

This is a month-to-month event, and writers must register for each month they plan to attend.

Please note: The Fictioneers is designed as a writing community rather than a critique workshop, so instructor feedback on individual manuscripts is not included.
