Meredith Doench is the author of the Luce Hansen sapphic thriller series as well as the stand-alone novels, Whereabouts Unknown and Never Say Die. Her first novel, Crossed, was awarded the 2017 Nancy Dasher Award from the College English Association of Ohio. Her novels Forsaken Trust and Deadeye were both Goldie finalists in the mystery/thriller genre from the Golden Crown Literary Society. Meredith’s works of short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in literary journals such as Hayden’s Ferry Review, Women’s Studies Quarterly and The Tahoma Literary Review. She was one of the founding associate prose editors of the literary journal Camera Obscura: Journal of Literature and Photography and is a member of the Queer Crime Writers Association. Meredith teaches creative writing and literature at the University of Dayton as well as workshops online and in the Dayton-Cincinnati-Columbus area.   https://udayton.edu.
